Current Research Projects

• Pantothenamide-mimicking compounds as new antibacterial or antiplasmodial agents
• Inhibition of bacterial itaconate degradation as a new strategy to treat infections without antibiotics
• Enzymatic reactions in moist-solid reaction mixtures and its application biocatalysis (e.g. in plastic recycling, CO2 capture, etc)
• Mechanistic studies of P450 enzymes and their redox partners
