Research Interests

  • Protein structure, function, and dynamics
  • Structural biology
  • Pharmacology

Current Research Projects

The Audet Laboratory specializes in structural biology and in vitro pharmacology. More specifically, we are interested in the conformational dynamics of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and solute carrier (SLC) transporters, and how these dynamics govern their biological functions. We use cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), X-ray crystallography, and pharmacological approaches to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying hormone, ligand, and drug efficacy and regulation.

Tools and Expertises

  • Cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM)
  • Protein X-ray crystallography
  • Computer assisted drug design
